Importance: Behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD), the most common subtype of FTD, is a leading form of early-onset dementia worldwide. Accurate and timely diagnosis of bvFTD is frequently delayed due to symptoms overlapping with common psychiatric disorders, and interest has increased in identifying biomarkers that may aid in differentiating bvFTD from psychiatric disorders.
Objective: To summarize and critically review studies examining whether neurofilament light chain (NfL) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) or blood is a viable aid in the differential diagnosis of bvFTD vs psychiatric disorders.

Background: The dynamic progression of gray matter (GM) microstructural alterations following radiotherapy (RT) in patients, and the relationship between these microstructural abnormalities and cortical morphometric changes remains unclear.
Purpose: To longitudinally characterize RT-related GM microstructural changes and assess their potential causal links with classic morphometric alterations in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
Study Type: Prospective, longitudinal.

Background: Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD) is a pediatric hip disorder characterized by idiopathic avascular necrosis of the femoral head. Although its etiology remains unclear, frequent observations of short stature and delayed skeletal maturation have suggested disturbance of systemic growth regulation, particularly involving the growth hormone (GH)/insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) axis. This study evaluates the impact of GH deficiency (GHD) and timing of GH therapy (GHT) on radiographic progression and femoral head morphology in LCPD.

Unlabelled: Encephalitis is a potentially life-threatening condition with infectious or autoimmune aetiologies. Autoimmune encephalitis includes paraneoplastic variants associated with specific onconeural antibodies such as anti-Hu, frequently linked to malignancies. Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is the leading infectious cause in adults.

Introduction: This study examined the impacts of different negative pressure cupping therapies (PCT) on pain relief, functional recovery, and inflammatory regulation in delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) after high-intensity exercise, with the aim of clarifying the dose-effect relationship.
Methods: In this study, 55 healthy male participants aged 18-25 were selected and divided into 5 groups: the control group (CTR; = 11) and NPCT groups at different levels (-25 kPa, -35 kPa, -45 kPa, and -55 kPa; = 11 in each group). A high-intensity protocol, which included 6 sets of lunges, squats, and squat jumps, was adopted to induce DOMS in the quadriceps femoris.
