Objectives: To evaluate the association between the KRAS mutational load and the histologic tumor response in patients with resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) who received neoadjuvant treatment (NAC) with pegylated liposomal irinotecan in combination with oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and leucovorin (NALIRIFOX).

Methods: This was a multicenter, single-arm, interventional, open-label, phase 2 trial in patients 18 years or older who had histologically or cytologically confirmed PDAC and were candidates for surgery and received neoadjuvant NALIRIFOX. The primary outcome was determination of the association between the KRAS mutational load and the histologic tumor response after chemotherapy.

Objective: To assess the safety and tolerability of intravitreal injection of human retinal progenitor cells (RPCs) at multiple dose levels in adults with non-syndromic retinitis pigmentosa (RP).

Design: A prospective, multicenter, open-label, single-arm, Phase I/IIa safety study of RPCs in adults with RP ( = 28). Two patient cohorts were studied: Cohort 1: BCVA no better than 20/200 and no worse than Hand Motions, and Cohort 2: BCVA no better than 20/40 and no worse than 20/200).

Aim: Controversy exists over whether surgical technique can reduce recurrence following Crohn's resection. This study compares the rate of endoscopic recurrence after different approaches to mesenteric excision (extended/close) and anastomosis (Kono-S/standard of care) in adult patients undergoing ileocolic resection for primary or recurrent Crohn's disease.

Method: MEErKAT is a UK multicentre, 2 × 2 factorial, randomised, controlled, open-label superiority trial where participants (target sample size = 308) are blinded and centrally randomised (1:1:1:1) to one of four groups: (1) Kono-S + extended mesenteric resection.

Introduction: Patients in intensive care units (ICUs) frequently require mechanical ventilation, with approximately half needing invasive ventilation through an orotracheal tube. For these patients, gastric tube (GT) insertion is routinely performed to administer nutrition and medications or to drain gastric contents. The insertion route (oral or nasal) may affect the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), a significant ICU care complication.

Background: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) affects joints and entheses. The objective is to use ultrasound (US) to see inflammatory changes in joints and entheses in patients with active PsA starting Apremilast.

Primary Objective: 20% reduction in the US index (UIC) at 12 months.
