After the reform and opening up in China, through a series of rapid developments in world, online education has grown both socially and economically. This area has become representative of the fast-growing economy. However, Guangfu culture as a crucial component of Cantonese traditional culture is gradually becoming less influential today. It is the college's responsibility and duty to protect, carry forward, and inherit this traditional culture. Especially during this cyber era, where networks have become a powerful source for communication and study, there are diversified methods of adaptive learning and various learning behaviors. This article aims to analyze the plausibility of adapting an online platform into the teaching arena and the needs of students under this teaching mode. A simulation of applying advanced technology and artificial intelligence into Guangfu culture innovation was also conducted. The contribution shows the users in this platform have a longer study time, compared with non-platform users, and are more interested in traditional culture knowledge than non-users; 21.5% higher in the performance's test.

This study investigates the probiotic and industrial suitability of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and non-LAB isolates from traditional Pakistani dairy, addressing gaps in region-specific probiotic discovery.
Methods: Forty-seven bacterial isolates were obtained from fermented buffalo milk products (yogurt and cheese).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping cosmetic surgery by enhancing surgical planning, predicting outcomes, and enabling objective aesthetic assessment. Through narrative synthesis of existing literature and case studies, this perspective paper explores the issue of algorithmic bias in AI-powered aesthetic technologies and presents a framework for culturally sensitive application within cosmetic surgery practices in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Existing AI systems are predominantly trained on datasets that underrepresent MENA phenotypes, resulting in aesthetic recommendations that disproportionately reflect Western beauty ideals.

Introduction: Understanding how neural networks process complex patterns of information is crucial for advancing both neuroscience and artificial intelligence. To investigate fundamental principles of neural computation, we examined whether dissociated neuronal cultures, one of the most primitive living neural networks, exhibit regularity sensitivity beyond mere stimulus-specific adaptation and deviance detection.
Methods: We recorded activity to oddball electrical stimulation paradigms from dissociated rat cortical neurons cultured on high-resolution CMOS microelectrode arrays.

The transition from traditional animal-based approaches and assessments to New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) marks a scientific revolution in regulatory toxicology, with the potential of enhancing human and environmental protection. However, implementing the effective use of NAMs in regulatory toxicology has proven to be challenging, and so far, efforts to facilitate this change frequently focus on singular technical, psychological or economic inhibitors. This article takes a system-thinking approach to these challenges, a holistic framework for describing interactive relationships between the components of a system of interest.

In this Special Issue of the Journal of Aging Studies, we endeavour to honor Roberta Maierhofer's inspiring scholarship by original research that addresses the intersections of age and gender in cultural Age/ing Studies and Critical Gerontology. From the perspective of feminist literary studies, Roberta Maierhofer introduced the term "anocriticism" in the late 1990s to analyze literature concerned with female aging processes. The contributions in this Special Issue bring together many different perspectives on the intersecting categories of age and gender, linking sociological perspectives to those of film and literary scholarship.
