Metasurfaces offer diverse wavefront control by manipulating amplitude, phase, and polarization of light which is beneficial to design subwavelength scaled integrated photonic devices. Metasurfaces based tunable circular polarization (CP) beam splitting is one functionality of interest in polarization control. Here, we propose and numerically realize metasurface based spin tunable beam splitter which splits the incoming CP beam into two different directions and tune the splitting angles by switching the handedness of incident light polarization. The proposed design approach has potential in applications such as optical communication, multiplexing, and imaging.

Charged hadron elliptic anisotropies (v_{2}) are presented over a wide transverse momentum (p_{T}) range for proton-lead (pPb) and lead-lead (PbPb) collisions at nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energies of 8.16 and 5.02 TeV, respectively.

Introduction: Preclinical evidence has demonstrated the potential of FLASH radiotherapy (FLASH-RT) to spare normal tissues compared to conventional (CONV) exposures. Most FLASH studies have used ultra-high dose rate (>40 Gy/sec) electrons and protons whilst comparatively few studies have reported photon FLASH responses. Given the widespread use of photons clinically, there is a need to characterise the FLASH effect using photons.

Powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR) have become an increasingly utilized form of respiratory protection against highly infectious aerosols. In the United States, PAPRs have been used in high-level clinical isolation settings to care for patients infected with viral hemorrhagic fevers and, more recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic. PAPRs have long been used for biocontainment care and experienced increased use during the pandemic because they provide full-face visibility and eye and respiratory protection.

Altermagnets are a newly identified family of collinear antiferromagnets with a momentum-dependent spin-split band structure of non-relativistic origin, derived from spin-group symmetry-protected crystal structures. Among candidate altermagnets, CrSb is attractive for potential applications because of a large spin-splitting near the Fermi level and a high Néel transition temperature of around 700 K. Molecular beam epitaxy is used to synthesize CrSb (0001) thin films with thicknesses ranging from 10 to 100 nm.

This study explored a novel digital design and fabrication method for a double constrained split orthodontic miniscrew guide to improve the accuracy and safety of clinical miniscrew implantation and reduce related complications. A patient requiring miniscrew implantation was selected, and data were acquired using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and intraoral optical scanning. For the construction of a double constrained split guide including a screw-hole guide and an insertion rod guide, different types of software such as Mimics 24.
