Traumatic intussusception is exceedingly rare. According to the existing literature, most cases are treated surgically. However, the treatment and prognosis of traumatic intussusception are not well understood, and more research is needed to determine the most beneficial treatment options. Multiple intussusceptions were found on a computed tomography scan of a 9-year-old boy with multiple severe traumatic injuries resulting from a car accident while riding an electric scooter. Conservative management was performed, and spontaneous reduction was successfully achieved without complications. This is the first reported case where multiple traumatic intussusceptions in a pediatric patient were managed without surgical intervention. Thus, traumatic intussusception of varied quantity and quality might be managed conservatively, yielding spontaneous resolution with the prerequisites of stable vital signs and no evidence of intestinal ischemia or perforation.

Salvage procedures for failed total wrist arthroplasty have variable results and limitations such as donor site morbidity, malunion, delayed or nonunion. We present a case of substantial bone loss after failed wrist arthroplasty and a surgical technique in which the distal ulna is transferred and intussuscepted to achieve union between the residual distal radius and metacarpals. A 48-year-old female with rheumatoid arthritis presented with wrist prosthetic joint infection 16 years after total wrist arthroplasty.

Blunt abdominal trauma can result in a spectrum of injuries, ranging from superficial contusions to severe hollow viscus perforations. We present the case of a 52-year-old male involved in a bicycle-truck collision, leading to complex intra-abdominal injuries. The patient presented with acute abdominal pain and signs of peritonitis, prompting urgent diagnostic workup and surgical intervention.

Introduction And Importance: Intussusception in adults is a rare manifestation after traumatic abdominal surgery, because after abdominal surgery patients often have functional bowel paralysis rather than increased intestinal motility.
Case Presentation: 39-year-old male patient with acute intussusception appeared after surgery for diaphragmatic rupture and is undergoing postoperative treatment on day 7. The patient has clinical manifestations of small bowel obstruction.

Background: Many potentially treatable non-congenital and non-traumatic surgical conditions can occur during the first 8000 days of life and an estimated 85% of children in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) will develop one before 15 years old. This review summarizes the common routine surgical emergencies in children from LMICs and their effects on morbidity and mortality.
Methods: A narrative review was undertaken to assess the epidemiology, treatment, and outcomes of common surgical emergencies that present within the first 8000 days (or 21.
