The aromaticity of the newly synthesized [12]infinitene is addressed via analysis of the magnetically induced current density and the induced magnetic field. Our calculations reveal that [12]infinitene responds to an external magnetic field by creating two current-density pathways that flow diatropically along the edges of the molecule. The current-density pathways do not intersect. The entire structure is completely shielded suggesting that the infinitene molecule is aromatic, contrary to what the Möbius rule for twisted annulene structures predicts. We also studied the dication of [12]infinitene, which sustains two paratropic ring currents flowing along the edges. The space between the stacked rings at the crossing point is shorter for the dication as compared to the neutral molecule. Hence, a strong through-space current density appears at the crossing point of π-π stacked rings.

Electroporation is a promising technology utilizing electrical pulses for macromolecule delivery and soft-tissue ablation, with applications that include next-generation prophylactics and the treatment of genetic diseases such as cancer. This study demonstrates a high-throughput capable 3D tissue culture model for quantification of the reversible and irreversible electroporation thresholds for a given electroporation protocol. By using a non-uniform electric field and analyzing the spatial distribution of transfected cells, both reversible and irreversible thresholds can be identified within a single sample, increasing the efficiency at which electroporation protocols can be characterized, especially for in vivo translation.

Protein kinases are central regulators of cell signaling and play pivotal roles in a wide array of diseases, most notably cancer and autoimmune disorders. The clinical success of kinase inhibitors-such as imatinib and osimertinib-has firmly established kinases as valuable drug targets. However, the development of selective, potent inhibitors remains challenging due to the conserved nature of the ATP-binding site, off-target effects, resistance mutations, and patient-specific variability.

Supercapacitors, comprising electrical double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) and pseudocapacitors, are widely acknowledged as high-power energy storage devices. However, their local structures and fundamental mechanisms remain poorly understood, and suitable experimental techniques for investigation are also lacking. Recently, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has emerged as a powerful tool for addressing these fundamental issues with high local sensitivity and non-invasiveness.

Transition metal (TM)-doped silicon clusters represent critical model systems for understanding nanoscale hybridization and stability mechanisms. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of structural evolution, electronic properties, and thermodynamic stability in ruthenium-doped silicon clusters (RuSi̅, = 7-11) through integrated experimental and computational approaches. Anion photoelectron spectroscopy combined with density functional theory (DFT/B3LYP), coupled-cluster theory [CCSD(T)], and bonding analyses (AdNDP, NICS, ACID) reveals charge-state-dependent structural transitions, with full Ru encapsulation emerging at = 10 for anions and = 11 for neutrals.
