In the twenty years since Dr. Leo Breiman's incendiary paper was first published, algorithmic modeling techniques have gone from controversial to commonplace in the statistical community. While the widespread adoption of these methods as part of the contemporary statistician's toolkit is a testament to Dr. Breiman's vision, the number of high-profile failures of algorithmic models suggests that Dr. Breiman's final remark that "the emphasis needs to be on the problem and the data" has been less widely heeded. In the spirit of Dr. Breiman, we detail an emerging research community in statistics - data-driven decision support. We assert that to realize the full potential of decision support, broadly and in the context of precision health, will require a culture of social awareness and accountability, in addition to ongoing attention towards complex technical challenges.

Many women in intimate relationships with violent partners often report facing stigma related to intimate partner violence (IPV), which typically includes blame, shame, discrimination, loss of status, dismissal, or isolation. Researchers studying IPV and stigma have yet to examine the content of stigmatizing messages from informal support networks, which may resonate with women for an extended period - - and contribute to the persistence of their adverse outcomes. To address this gap, this qualitative study explored the content of memorable stigmatizing messages in the accounts of twenty-eight women affected by IPV living in the United States.

Purpose: Computed tomography fluoroscopy (CTF)-guided biopsy is an established technique for sampling pulmonary lesions, particularly with the growing prevalence of lung nodule screening programs. This study investigated procedural and lesion-related factors affecting success and complication rates in routine CTF-guided lung core-needle biopsies at a tertiary center.
Methods: Consecutive patients undergoing percutaneous CTF-guided lung biopsies over a 10-year period (2007-2016) were retrospectively analyzed.
Background: Advancements in healthcare have significantly improved the prospect of patients with CHD, with over 97% now surviving adulthood. This growing population requires lifelong care and support to manage their condition. Digital health innovations, such as the "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) tool, aim to empower patients and improve collaboration with clinicians.

Background: Making informed decisions about clinical trial participation can be overwhelming for patients due to the complexity of trial information, potential risks and benefits, and the emotional burden of a recent diagnosis. Patient decision aids (PDAs) simplify this process by providing clear information on treatment options, empowering patients to actively participate in shared decision-making with their doctors. While PDAs have shown promise in various health care contexts, their use in clinical trials, particularly in the form of trial-specific patient decision aids (tPDAs), remains underused.

Background: Differentiating between primary and permanent teeth is a critical component of oral health knowledge, influencing both preventive care and clinical decisions. With the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare and education, its role in supporting learning is of increasing interest.
Aim: This study evaluated the diagnostic accuracy and internal consistency of ChatGPT-4.
