Modern fluoroscopes used for image guidance have become quite complex. Adding to this complexity are the many regulatory and accreditation requirements that must be fulfilled during acceptance testing of a new unit. Further, some of these acceptance tests have pass/fail criteria, whereas others do not, making acceptance testing a subjective and time-consuming task. The AAPM Task Group 272 Report spells out the details of tests that are required and gives visibility to some of the tests that while not yet required are recommended as good practice. The organization of the report begins with the most complicated fluoroscopes used in interventional radiology or cardiology and continues with general fluoroscopy and mobile C-arms. Finally, the appendices of the report provide useful information, an example report form and topics that needed their own section due to the level of detail.

School interventions targeting adolescents' general knowledge of vaccination are rare despite their potential to reduce vaccine hesitancy. This cluster-randomized trial involving 8,589 French ninth graders from 399 schools tests two interventions against the standard curriculum. The first provided teachers with ready-to-use pedagogical activities, while the second used a chatbot.

Background: Risk-stratified breast screening has gained international attention, as individualized risk assessments can inform screening initiation, frequency, and whether to screen. In this study, we evaluated the cost-effectiveness of risk-stratified screening based on genetic testing for breast cancer-associated single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) compared to the current age-based screening program in Taiwan.
Methods: A Markov model was used to estimate lifetime health outcomes and costs for 35-year-old Taiwanese women without a family history of breast cancer.

Retention on antiretroviral therapy (ART) is critical for achieving viral load suppression (VLS) among people living with HIV (PLHIV). Retention remains challenging in high-prevalence settings like Malawi. Short messaging service (SMS) interventions, particularly hybrid two-way texting (2wT), show promise in improving ART retention.

Reproductive coercion (RC) and intimate partner violence (IPV) are prevalent in Kenya and undermine women's reproductive agency; community-based women's groups may offer an opportunity to address these issues. We quantitatively examined women's participation in women-only self-help groups, described discussions of RC within these groups, and assessed differences based on prior experiences of RC and IPV among a clinic-based sample of Kenyan women seeking family planning services to inform future programming. Data were collected from 659 women of reproductive age seeking family planning services at six private clinics in Nairobi as part of the baseline for an intervention to address RC and IPV within family planning counseling.
