Background: Early detection of hematological malignancies improves long-term survival but remains a critical challenge due to heterogeneity in clinical presentation. Chronic inflammation is a key driver in hematologic cancers and is known to induce compensatory microvascular changes. High-resolution, non-invasive retinal imaging can allow the quantification of microvascular changes for the early detection of hematological malignancies.

Objective: To develop and validate a prognostic nomogram for predicting the risk of proximal ureteral impacted calculi, supporting personalized clinical management.
Methods: This retrospective, multicenter study employed a continuous cohort of 391 patients with proximal ureteral stones treated between January 2021 and April 2024. Data from Longyan People's Hospital (affiliated with Xiamen Medical College) comprised the training set, while independent external validation was performed using data from The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Objectives: In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), non-invasive alternatives to biopsy-dependent driver mutation analysis are needed. We reviewed the effectiveness of radiomics alone or with clinical data and assessed the performance of artificial intelligence (AI) models in predicting oncogene mutation status.
Materials And Methods: A PRISMA-compliant literature review for studies predicting oncogene mutation status in NSCLC patients using radiomics was conducted by a multidisciplinary team.

Purpose: Bronchiolar adenoma (BA) is a rare benign pulmonary neoplasm originating from the bronchial mucosal epithelium and mimics lung adenocarcinoma (LAC) both radiographically and microscopically. This study aimed to develop a nomogram for distinguishing BA from LAC by integrating clinical characteristics and artificial intelligence (AI)-derived histogram parameters across two medical centers.
Methods: This retrospective study included 215 patients with diagnoses confirmed by postoperative pathology from two medical centers.

Background: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is characterized by high incidence, sudden onset, and often poor prognosis. Carotid atherosclerosis plays a crucial role in its pathogenesis, and ultrasound imaging offers a non-invasive method for evaluating carotid plaque characteristics. This study aimed to develop and validate a prediction model for AIS risk based on a novel ultrasound-based carotid plaque scoring system combined with clinical risk factors.
