An Unusual Case of Medial Canthal Angioleiomyoma.

An 84-year-old Caucasian male was referred for evaluation of a worsening left medial canthal lesion for consideration of excision. The patient reported a 4-year history of the painless canthal lesion gradually increasing in size with progressively obstructed peripheral vision. On examination, the cream-colored cyst measured 10 × 8 mm.

Neutral Lipid Storage Disease with Myopathy (NLSDM) is a rare lipid metabolism disorder caused by impaired Adipose Triglyceride Lipase (ATGL) activity, leading to neutral lipid accumulation in various tissues. It typically manifests with progressive skeletal myopathy, with an onset of around 35 years. In addition, some patients develop cardiomyopathy and liver dysfunction.

Primary cardiac lymphoma (PCL) is one of the rarest primary malignancies of the heart. This report describes a rare presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in a 61-year-old woman from Iran who presented with weakness, dyspnea, and bilateral lower extremity edema, especially on the right side that progressively worsened over 2 years. Initial diagnostic workup, including laboratory tests, color Doppler ultrasound, and echocardiography, revealed a large immobile mass attached to the RA wall.

Snake envenomation is a neglected tropical disease with two million snake bites reported each year (WHO). Much less common is snake venom ophthalmia secondary to eye exposure from spitting snakes.
