High-sensitivity multicolour flow cytometry (MFC)-based B-lymphoblastic leukaemia (B-ALL) measurable residual disease (BMRD) assay is increasingly being used in clinical practice. Herein, we describe six consistently present low-level populations immunophenotypically mimicking abnormal B-ALL blasts in 441 BMRD samples from 301 children. These included CD19 CD123 plasmacytoid dendritic cells differentiating from lymphoid precursors, CD10 transitional B cells with CD10 /CD38dim-to-negative/CD20bright/CD45bright phenotype, CD19 natural killer (NK) cells, CD73bright/CD10 mesenchymal stromal/stem cells, CD73bright/CD34 endothelial cells, and a CD34 CD38dim-to-negative/CD10 /CD20bright/CD45bright subset of mature B cells. We provide the proportions, comprehensive immunophenotype, and practical clues for proper identification of these low-level populations. Knowledge regarding the presence and immunophenotype of these mimics is essential for accurate interpretation in high-sensitivity MFC-BMRD analysis.

This study aimed to histomorphometrically evaluate the effect of guided bone regeneration (GBR) and two implant surfaces on the thickness and height of newly formed bone in dehiscence defects around titanium implants. Three premolars and the first bilateral molar were extracted from ten adult mongrel dogs, and 40 buccal bone dehiscences measuring 5 mm in height and 4 mm in width were created using a University of North Carolina (UNC) periodontal probe to confirm the dimensions. Forty implants were randomly assigned to one of four groups: oxidized implant surfaces (OIS, n = 10), turned/machined implant surfaces (TIS, n = 10), OIS + GBR (n = 10), and TIS + GBR (n = 10).

Stress engineering is an effective way to tune the performance of semiconductors, which has been verified in the work of inorganic and organic single-crystal semiconductors. However, due to the limitations of the vapor-phase growth preparation conditions, the deposited polycrystalline organic semiconductors are more susceptible to residual stress. Therefore, it is of great research significance to develop a low-cost stress engineering applicable to vapor-deposited semiconductors.

The single-difference positioning method could eliminate the systematic error of long periods, which is one of the major factors affecting the seafloor geodetic acoustic positioning accuracy. Due to the poor observation geometry in short observation time, there is collinearity in the coefficient matrix. Therefore, a small observation error may lead to a large error in the least square solution, which is the ill-posed problem of single-difference positioning.

Introduction: A subset of patients with homonymous hemianopia can consciously perceive motion within their blind visual fields-a phenomenon known as the Riddoch phenomenon. However, the factors predicting this residual motion perception remain poorly understood. This study aims to identify clinical and neuroanatomical predictors of the Riddoch phenomenon in stroke patients.

Background: Bone marrow (BM) Measurable Residual Disease (MRD) assessments underestimate disease burden in multiple myeloma, as focal lesions can exist outside the marrow. Functional imaging, like positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT), offers valuable insights into residual disease beyond the marrow. Combining marrow flow cytometry (FCM) with PET-CT for a composite MRD (cMRD) assessment before and after autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) is expected to provide prognostic information, particularly in settings where patients receive extended duration of anti-myeloma therapy prior to ASCT.
