Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) accounts for 10% of hematologic malignancies. CLL is a malignancy of CD5+ B cells and it is characterized by the accumulation of small, mature-appearing neoplastic lymphocytes in the blood, bone marrow, and secondary lymphoid tissues. In the present case, a middle-aged female patient with poor prognosis unmutated IGHV CLL achieved cytogenetic and molecular remission with minimal adverse events following six cycles of low dose recombinant human IL-2 (rIL-2) in combination with low dose targeted venetoclax. Personalized low dose rIL-2 in combination with either lenalidomide or venetoclax mediates natural killer stimulation and is an effective non-toxic immunotherapy administered in the outpatient setting for poor prognosis CLL.

The ATPase caseinolytic protease X (ClpX), forming the ClpXP complex with caseinolytic protease P (ClpP), is essential for mitochondrial protein homeostasis. While ClpP targeting is a recognized anticancer strategy, the role of ClpX in cancer remains underexplored. In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), elevated CLPX expression correlates with poor prognosis, suggesting its oncogenic function.

Background: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a highly aggressive neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) with poor prognosis due to chemotherapy resistance. Molecular subtypes, including ASCL1, NEUROD1, YAP1 and POU2F3, have distinct clinical implications. POU2F3, linked to a tuft cell-like lineage, represents a non-neuroendocrine subtype found in SCLC and extrapulmonary NECs.

ancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease and often presents at an advanced stage with no curative options. The disease is often characterized by rapid progression, limited or short-lived responsiveness to standard therapies, and a profound impact on patients' quality of life. Despite advances in targeted therapies and immunotherapy, curative outcomes remain elusive for the majority of patients with advanced or high-grade disease with a 5-year survival rate of less than 10%.

To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of non-HPV-related common differentiated penile squamous cell carcinoma, and to observe and analyze the changes of TP53 gene and the expression and significance of TP53, P16, programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), androgen receptor (AR), human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2), and Ki67 proteins in tumor tissue. A total of 65 patients with penile squamous cell carcinoma diagnosed from May 2008 to May 2020 in Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, and tumors were confirmed as non-HPV-associated common differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the penis with negative HPV molecular tests in 55 patients. The relevant clinicopathological data of 55 patients were collected, and the TP53 gene mutation was detected by applying first-generation sequencing technology.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive cancer with poor prognosis, partly due to cancer stem cells (CSCs) that drive progression and treatment resistance. We explored the therapeutic potential of inducing cuproptosis, a copper-dependent regulated cell death, in CSC-enriched PDAC models. Using human and murine PDAC models, we evaluated elesclomol, a copper transport enhancer.
