Cognitive decline is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), although neural mechanisms are not fully understood. The objective was to investigate the impact of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) on the relationship between resting state functional connectivity (RSFC) and cognitive function in older adults with multiple sclerosis (OAMS) and age matched healthy controls. Participants underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and cognitive assessments.

Introduction: Orthopaedic surgery has historically been among the least ethnically diverse fields in medicine. The latest American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Census report in 2018 indicates that only 2.2% of all practicing orthopaedic surgeons in the United States identify as Hispanic/Latino.

Chemically modified oligonucleotides (ONs) are essential tools in molecular biology, diagnostics, and therapeutics. Strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) offers an efficient and bioorthogonal method for ON functionalization. While SPAAC reactions on solid-phase support provide distinct advantages, particularly for the incorporation of lipophilic labels, factors influencing their efficiency remain poorly characterized.

c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNKs), a subfamily of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs), are key mediators of cellular responses to environmental stress, inflammation, and apoptotic signals. The three isoforms-JNK1, JNK2, and JNK3 exhibit both overlapping and isoform-specific functions. While JNK1 and JNK2 are broadly expressed across tissues and regulate immune signaling, cell proliferation, and apoptosis, JNK3 expression is largely restricted to the brain, heart, and testis, where it plays a crucial role in neuronal function and survival.

Background: Guideline adaptation refers to the process of modifying or tailoring existing clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) in addressing local health system needs, improving the relevance of recommendations, and overcoming barriers like resource constraints. However, limited information is known about the current development, evaluation, and implementation of guideline adaptation.
Aim: This study aims to evaluate the methodological quality, utilization, and implementation of English-language adapted CPGs and compare frameworks used for adaptation.
