The eukaryotic genome is hierarchically structured yet highly dynamic. Regulating transcription in this environment demands a high level of coordination to permit many proteins to interact with chromatin fiber at appropriate sites in a timely manner. We describe how recent advances in quantitative imaging techniques overcome caveats of sequencing-based methods (Hi-C and related) by enabling direct visualization of transcription factors and chromatin at high resolution, from single genes to the whole nucleus. We discuss the contribution of fluorescence imaging to deciphering the principles underlying this coordination within the crowded nuclear space in living cells and discuss challenges ahead.

Recent investigations have identified critical distinctions in humans, such as the requirement of subunit rolling and a tenfold slower proofreading step. While ESC demonstrates a strong intrinsic balance between exploration and exploitation, opportunities exist to enhance its inter-agent communication and search trajectory diversification.

Aim: To qualitatively assess the causes, adaptations, and psychosocial impact of falls, and solutions for safer environments, as shared by individuals diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP).
Method: Ambulatory adults with CP (n = 165; age median [interquartile range], range: 30 years [25-50], 18-76 years); 101 females, 59 males, five non-binary/not specified) and caregivers of ambulatory children with CP (n = 151; age median [interquartile range], range: 10 years [7-14 years], 5-17 years; 64 females, 83 males, four non-binary/not specified) responded to four open-ended prompts regarding falls. Deductive and inductive thematic content analysis was conducted.

Introduction: The Care Alert Program (CAP) is designed to help navigate encounters with patients who are high utilizers of Emergency Department (ED) resources. The CAP intends to address the needs of this challenging patient population by designing individualized care plans that are approved by a multidisciplinary committee. The patient populations that frequently use ED resources often have chronic medical conditions, a poor understanding of their conditions, unrealistic expectations regarding treatment, a lack of outpatient resources, and present with multiple complaints when using ED resources.
