Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of structural empowerment and explore its relationship with job performance among nurses.
Background: Empowered nurses display more authority and an awareness of the accomplishment of their contribution to organizational goals.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with a convenience sample of nurses in 4 hospitals in Jordan. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire.
Results: A total of 195 nurses responded to the questionnaires, including 88 males (45.1%) and 107 females (54.9%). Overall, participants perceived their work environment to be moderately empowering. There is a significant positive correlation between structural empowerment and job performance.
Conclusions: Highly empowered nurses display higher performance than less empowered nurses. Nurse managers must create an empowering work environment that supports nurses' job performance positively through structural empowerment. Applying structural empowerment in the work setting is crucial for ensuring the highest quality of patient care, improving nurses' performance, and reaching the organizational goals.

Digital phenotyping is a novel approach to assessing individual health conditions by collecting and analysing data generated through interactions with digital devices. Although digital phenotyping is regarded as a promising tool for transforming psychiatric clinical practice, its potential to exacerbate epistemic injustice remains a central ethical concern. However, epistemic injustice in psychiatric digital phenotyping should be understood as rooted in specific forms of ignorance, which are not necessarily negative obstacles.

Background: Informal caregivers of home-dwelling people with dementia experience significant unmet needs. However, family physician teams as primary health care gatekeepers for aging populations in China remain an underused resource for structured caregiver support.
Objective: This hybrid effectiveness-implementation study aimed to evaluate a policy-aligned integration of the World Health Organization's iSupport web-based program with China's family physician contract services for informal dementia caregivers while systematically assessing implementation determinants using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).

In the United States, approximately 20 million individuals, age 12 and older, have a substance use disorder (SUD), with an average age of first-time use at 13 years old. Evidence has shown that many SUDs begin in adolescence, and involvement with the legal system can ensue. Adolescents with first-time drug and alcohol arrests can be referred to an Adolescent Intervention Program (AIP) as an alternative to jailtime from the juvenile court system.

Poorer cancer prevention and control outcomes for First Nations Australians have resulted in a need for improved health literacy, that is their capacity as individuals to access, understand, and use information in ways that promote and maintain good health. This narrative review explores the evidence on how education programs work to improve First Nations Australians' understanding of cancer, and how this leads to more effective use of prevention, screening and treatment services. Limited to the Australian context, a bibliographic search using terms structured around four main concepts: Aboriginal, Cancer, Australia, and Intervention (health literacy, health promotion) was undertaken in May 2024 for publications from January 2000.
