Background: The diagnosis of actinic keratosis (AK), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and psoriasis may present a challenge in everyday dermatological practice. Clinical and dermoscopic assessments often reach their limits, especially in ambiguous or anatomically difficult-to-access lesions. Biopsies are often impractical, and objective tools for treatment monitoring are lacking.

: Ultrasound and colour Doppler are adjuvant techniques widely used in clinical settings in obstetrics, cardiology, and others. Its use in dermatology is more incipient although it presents potential for clinical use namely in dermo-oncology. : This study explores the usefulness of the combination of cutaneous ultrasound with Doppler after digital dermatoscopy in distinguishing between most common benign and malignant skin lesions, focusing on the importance of different vascular patterns.

: The clinical, histopathological, and dermoscopic features may be associated with melanoma mutational status. The aims of the study were to assess the clinical, histopathological, and dermoscopic features of melanoma to identify their correlation with , , and cell cycle genes' mutational status in melanoma. : The clinical, histopathological information, dermoscopic images, and genomic DNA of 55 histopathologically diagnosed primary cutaneous melanomas were retrospectively analyzed.

Negative pigment network (NPN) is a dermoscopic structure frequently associated with melanoma. Though commonly observed in Spitz naevi (SN) and Spitzoid melanoma (SM), its reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) correlates have been primarily studied in non-Spitzoid melanocytic neoplasms. This study aimed to identify clinical, dermoscopic, and RCM features associated with dermoscopic NPN in Spitzoid neoplasms and explore its histopathological correlates.

Amelanotic melanoma represents an uncommon and aggressive variant of cutaneous melanoma. The characteristic absence of pigmentation poses significant diagnostic challenges, frequently leading to delayed clinical recognition and unfavorable prognosis compared to conventional pigmented melanomas. We report a 57-year-old Caucasian male patient with a medical history of amelanotic melanoma of the right foot surgically treated in 2010.
