Despite growing recognition of health as a multidimensional construct, few studies have examined how physical, psychological, and behavioral health dimensions coalesce and evolve across the transition from young to middle adulthood, especially within the context of life-course adversities. Existing research often focuses on isolated health indicators or overlooks the dynamic, fluid nature of health over time. Background: Third-generation cephalosporin-resistant Enterobacterales is a recognized global concern. This study investigated the molecular epidemiology of β-lactamase genes and antimicrobial susceptibility patterns among ceftriaxone-resistant Enterobacterales causing intra-abdominal and urinary tract infections in Taiwan between 2009 and 2019.
Methods: Data from the SMART surveillance program were analyzed, including Enterobacterales isolates with ceftriaxone minimum inhibitory concentrations ≥4 μg/mL.

Assemblage E of Giardia duodenalis, primarily infecting ruminants, has been relatively understudied both in vivo and in vitro. Due to unsuccessful attempts at in vitro cultivation, this study focused on establishing an economical, stable, and clinically relevant experimental animal model for Assemblage E infections. Cysts were purified from bovine feces via 33 % zinc sulfate flotation, with Assemblage E identity confirmed by gdh gene sequencing.

Objectives: To explore the perspectives and experiences of university health sciences students regarding their lifestyles and academic stress both during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, a highly stressful event.
