Problem: Approximately one-third of infertility cases are related to the female partner, and implantation failure is the primary reason for female infertility. The current research was established to assess the impact of calcitonin on endometrial receptivity.
Methods Of Study: 64 female BALB/c mice were assigned to 2 groups as follows: mice with regular ovarian cycle and mice with stimulated ovarian cycle. The two groups were further divided into four subgroups as follows: control (Ctrl), calcitonin (CT), pp242, and CT + pp242 groups. Calcitonin and pp242 were injected on days 3, 4, and 5 of pregnancy. On day 5 of gestation, all of the animals were sacrificed, and their uterine was removed for the morphological analysis, as well as the expression assessment genes and proteins.
Results: The results demonstrated that ovarian stimulation increased the rate of phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and mTOR proteins, and resulted in the upregulation of miR-223-3p. The administration of calcitonin also elevated the expression levels of LIF and HAND2 gene in both regular ovarian and ovarian-stimulated cycles. In ovarian-stimulated groups, the administration of calcitonin led to a decrease in the expression of miR-223-3p. Calcitonin administration also markedly increased the phosphorylation of 4EBP1 and ERK1/2 in the regular ovarian cycle.
Conclusion: It seems that calcitonin is capable of enhancing the endometrial receptivity of the uterine, thereby the overexpression of HAND2 and LIF and downregulation of miR-223-3p through the ERK1/2-mTOR signaling pathway.

Objectives: To describe the clinical presentation of patients with gonadal neuroendocrine tumors and carcinoid heart disease (CaHD) and to evaluate long-term outcomes following valvular surgery.
Methods: Retrospective review of patients with primary gonadal neuroendocrine tumor who were surgically treated for CaHD at our institution between 1990 and 2021.
Results: Eight patients (median age, 70 years) were included in the study, 7 with ovarian tumors and 1 with testicular tumor.

Cyclophosphamide (CTX) is a chemotherapy alkylating agent that causes many side effects, including the occurrence of Premature ovarian failure (POF). The present study aims to investigate the effects of coumarin (COU), as an antioxidant, on apoptosis and oxidative stress in the CTX-induced POF mouse model. NMRI female mice were randomly divided into four groups: 1- The control group received 200 mg/kg normal saline every two days for 6 days.

Introduction And Importance: Heterotopic pregnancy (HP), defined as the coexistence of intrauterine and ectopic pregnancies, is a rare occurrence following natural conception or assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures. Diagnosing HP can be challenging due to its rarity and often asymptomatic presentation.
Case Presentation: We present a case of HP in a woman with unexplained infertility who underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET).

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) are a class of targeted anticancer therapy that consist of a monoclonal antibody (linker) and a cytotoxic substance. Ocular adverse events (AEs) are common among ADCs with tubulin-targeted active agents, such as belantamab mafodotin, tisotumab vedotin and mirvetuximab soravtansine (MIRV). The substance MIRV targets folate receptor alpha (FRalpha) and has a tubulin-acting agent (the maytansinoid DM4).
