Background: Since 2013, we have performed conversion surgery after hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) for initially unresectable locally advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (LA-HCC).
Methods: Between 2013 and 2021, we assessed the surgical and oncological outcomes and pathological findings of patients with LA-HCC without extrahepatic spread (EHS) whose tumors converted from unresectable to resectable status with the New-FP regimen HAIC.
Results: We censored 153 patients with LA-HCC (Child-Pugh A, without EHS) indicated for HAIC.

Introduction: Tonsillectomy is associated with a high rate of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), ranging between 40% and 73%, and dexamethasone has been found to have a prophylactic effect on PONV in children undergoing tonsillectomy. In 2020, there was a sudden, severe shortage of intravenous dexamethasone given its role in treating patients with COVID-19. The primary aim of this study was to investigate the viability of an alternative: non-inferiority of oral versus intravenous dexamethasone for preventing PONV.

Background: Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) allows for precise excision of skin cancers with intraoperative histologic margin assessment. Incidental findings-unexpected histopathologic features unrelated to the primary lesion-are occasionally discovered but scantily characterized in the literature.
Objective: To systematically review published cases of incidental histologic findings identified during MMS, with attention to their frequency, clinical implications, and management.
