Understanding the migration characteristics of dissolved nitrogen from farmlands to runoff during rainfall is essential for managing agricultural non-point source pollution. The effects of tillage-induced surface micro-topography on the migration dynamics of dissolved nitrogen from soils to runoff have not been sufficiently explored. In this study, simulated rainfall experiments were conducted to investigate the export pathways, loads, and composition characteristics of dissolved nitrogen, including NO-N, NH-N, and dissolved organic nitrogen (DON).

Root system architecture (RSA) plays a crucial role in crop adaptation and yield stability, especially in the context of climate change and variable growing conditions. Despite this, the genetic basis of RSA remains poorly understood in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), necessitating the need for more research to better characterize this architecture and explore the potential of diverse germplasm for trait improvement.

Microbiome data analysis is essential for understanding the role of microbial communities in human health. However, limited data availability often hinders research progress, and synthetic data generation could offer a promising solution to this problem. This study aims to explore the use of machine learning (ML) to enrich an unbalanced dataset consisting of microbial operational taxonomic unit (OTU) counts of 148 samples, belonging to 61 patients.
