Introduction: Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDA-R) encephalitis is a neuropsychiatric disorder with additional psychiatric features caused by NMDA-R immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). This report presents the follow-up of a patient in whom we assumed mild NMDA-R encephalitis in the first psychotic episode.
Case Study: A patient with a prior episode of an acute polymorphic psychotic syndrome relapsed five and a half years later following a severe COVID-19 infection.

Background: The methylation of and its influence on protein stability and degradation could play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), although the underlying molecular mechanisms are not yet fully understood. This study investigates the molecular and bioinformatic features of methylation in T2DM.
Methods: Bioinformatics analyses were conducted on the T2DM database chip.

Purpose Of Review: This review summarizes current literature about the disability burden of the fungal neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) sporotrichosis, chromoblastomycosis, eumycetoma, and paracoccidioidomycosis. The review highlights current knowledge gaps in global settings and describes available tools that could be adopted to fill these gaps.
Recent Findings: Sporotrichosis, chromoblastomycosis, and eumycetoma often present initially as skin lesions that can become progressively disfiguring, lead to stigmatization, and cause various sequalae affecting health and function.

The Oncotype DX test is standardly used for patients with early-stage, hormone-receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancers to determine the benefit from chemotherapy and the likelihood of distant recurrence. The relationship between Oncotype DX recurrence scores and race/ethnicity is still being studied. This retrospective study aims to evaluate the relationship between Oncotype DX recurrence scores, race/ethnicity, and clinicopathological factors and to support the applicability of the Oncotype DX test for a diverse breast cancer population of Hawaii.

Lung cancer associated with cystic airspaces (LCCA) refers to primary lung cancers presenting with cystic airspaces accompanied by solid components, representing a relatively uncommon imaging and pathological phenotype. Although high-resolution imaging techniques, such as computerized tomography, are the primary diagnostic tools, early diagnosis remains challenging due to the similarity of its symptoms to other pulmonary diseases. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
