Portopulmonary hypertension (POPH), a subtype of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), develops with portal hypertension and may persist after liver transplantation. While there have been successes using balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO) for POPH, no reports exist on long-term follow-up. A 60-year-old man with hepatitis C cirrhosis developed POPH.

Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a rare histiocytic disorder that may clinically and histologically resemble IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD), especially in the presence of IgG4-positive plasma cell infiltration. In this case, a 69-year-old woman with generalized lymphadenopathy, constitutional symptoms, and elevated IgG4 levels was initially suspected to have IgG4-RD based on core needle biopsy. However, further evaluation with excisional lymph node biopsy revealed emperipolesis and S100-positive histiocytes, confirming the diagnosis of RDD.

We report a 64-year-old woman who developed symptomatic vasospasm on postoperative day 7 after clipping of an unruptured right middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysm. Imaging revealed right MCA vasospasm, which resolved with oral antiplatelets and intravenous vasodilators. She was discharged without neurological deficits.

Widespread fragmentation shells in combat operations with frequent multiple damage to organs and systems force to use all available diagnostic methods for treating severe injuries including lesion of great vessels of extremities. One of the consequences of these lesions is arteriovenous fistula (AVF). The last one may be asymptomatic at first.
