Little is known how coping self-efficacy (CSE) interacts with coping in dyad everyday life. The present study examined the moderating role of daily CSE in the relationship between coping and the next-day positive (PA) or negative (NA) affect in patient-caregiver dyads, following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. This intensive longitudinal study was conducted during the first 28 days after post-transplant discharge. Patients and their caregivers ( = 200) maintained daily diaries on CSE, coping strategies, and affect. Daily CSE moderated daily coping-affect relationship: Positive emotion-focused coping increased PA in patients with higher than usual emotion-related CSE, whereas a buffering effect was found at lower than usual emotion-related CSE. A positive association between negative emotion-focused coping and NA in both patients and caregivers was stronger among those with lower than usual levels of emotion-related CSE. Higher than usual instrumental coping reduced NA in patients whose caregivers had higher than usual problem-related CSE, but increased NA for those whose caregivers had lower than usual instrumental CSE. The findings show that daily CSE contributes to the effectiveness of daily coping within dyad, confirming its significance in effective adaptation and the role in the dyadic coping process.

The Home Artificial Nutrition Unit (HANU) deals with both dysphagic patients receiving enteral and parenteral nutrition and patients who can eat orally with restrictions. In the Lazio Region, the HANU prescribes water gels and thickeners, supplied by the National Health Service (NHS), for safe hydration. Before the employment of a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in the HANU (January 2023), prescriptions were standardized, regardless of the swallowing impairment severity: four jars of thickeners per patient/month and six water gels daily.

Accurate climate predictions are essential for agriculture, urban planning, and disaster management. Traditional forecasting methods often struggle with regional accuracy, computational demands, and scalability. This study proposes a Transformer-based deep learning model for daily temperature forecasting, utilizing historical climate data from Delhi (2013-2017, consisting of 1,500 daily records).

Objective: This study aimed to examine the preliminary psychometric characteristics of the Cystic Fibrosis Coping Self-Efficacy Scale (CF-CSE), a new measure of coping self-efficacy assessing confidence in one's ability to cope with challenges of living with cystic fibrosis (CF).
Methods: Measure development included cognitive testing with people with CF who participated in a pilot trial of CF-CBT, a CF-specific cognitive behavioral therapy skills-based intervention. Data were then collected from a baseline assessment in a multi-center randomized-controlled trial of CF-CBT for adults with mild symptoms of depression and/or anxiety (N = 60).
