While PGPB have historically been applied in agriculture, their formal recognition in the last century has driven intensive research into their role as sustainable tools for improving crop yield and stress tolerance. As they are primarily sourced from wild or native environments, the widespread enthusiasm has led to heightened expectations surrounding their potential, often based on the assumption that biological solutions are inherently safer and more effective than synthetic inputs. However, despite their popularity, increasing reports of inconsistent or limited performance under real-world, field conditions have raised critical questions about their credibility as biofertilizers and biocontrol agents.

In its first decade, The Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research has become a leading source of translational studies advancing molecular diagnostics in cancer, particularly in urologic pathology. This commentary highlights recent contributions that collectively place precision oncology at the forefront of pathology research. One review examines cancer stem cells in renal cell carcinoma, emphasizing the complexity of cellular plasticity and the tumor microenvironment in driving resistance and recurrence.

Dissemination and implementation sciences provide oral health professionals with an opportunity to understand which determinants promote the adoption of evidence-based innovations and interventions. Within this dynamic field, de-implementation provides the other side of the coin, that is, finding the ways to halt or modify practices that may be harmful to patients, do not hold sufficient scientific backing, or are simply not cost-efficient; conjointly known as low-value care. Scrutinizing low-value care procedures in oral health is essential, as identifying such practices creates opportunities to replace, update, or enhance them with approaches that offer greater benefits to patients, practitioners, and healthcare systems.

Cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzymes play an essential role in the metabolism of drugs, particularly in phase I metabolic reactions. In this article, we present a comprehensive review of fifteen selected enzymes belonging to the CYP450 family. The enzymes included in this analysis are CYP7A1, CYP3A4, CYP3A5, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, CYP2C8, CYP2C18, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2B6, CYP2A6, CYP2A13, CYP1B1, CYP1A1, and CYP1A2.
