Objectives: This study evaluates the management of paediatric melanoma at a tertiary centre, comparing clinical practices with international guidelines from the European Cooperative Study Group for Pediatric Rare Tumors (EXPeRT) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) to highlight real-world practices and make recommendations for future research priorities. The differences between conventional and Spitzoid melanomas were also explored in a subgroup analysis.
Background: Paediatric melanoma is rare and is most commonly caused by UV exposure or familial mutations.

Objective: This case report presents the thirty-seven-year follow-up results of a gingival recession (GR) treatment in the maxillary esthetic zone.
Case Description: In 1987, a healthy twenty-year-old female with a history of orthodontic treatment presented with a chief complaint of GR on the facial area of #9. There was no occlusal trauma, hypersensitivity, or parafunctional habit.
Objective: Success of longitudinal studies depends on retention of participants. We examined characteristics as predictors of retention among participants with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes (T2D) in the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and the follow-up DPP Outcomes Study.
Research Design And Methods: A total of 3,234 adults at high risk of T2D joined the DPP (1996-1999, mean age 51 ± 10 years).

In this post-hoc analysis, we report long-term clinical outcomes of a randomized phase II clinical trial (Mel39, NCT00938223) that tested the immunogenicity of two multipeptide vaccines designed to stimulate CD8 T cells in patients with high-risk melanoma. Fifty-one participants with resected stage IIB-IV melanoma randomized to vaccination with 4 or 12 melanoma peptides were followed for clinical outcomes. Overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) by vaccine arm, immune response, age, sex, and stage were evaluated.
