Background: Dengue virus (DENV) is a major global health challenge, causing over 7.6 million reported cases in 2024. Neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (NmAbs) have emerged as promising therapeutics to address the limitations of vaccines and lack of antivirals, but their development is complicated by viral diversity, "breathing" dynamics, and antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE).

Background: Excessive and improper use of antimicrobials is a major driver of antimicrobial resistance. Antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) addresses this by promoting judicious use of antimicrobials. This study evaluated the feasibility and effectiveness of an AMS program in district hospitals in Vietnam.

Liquid chromatography has advanced considerably since its introduction in the 1970s, with reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) becoming the dominant technique for separating non-volatile molecules. A key strategy for optimising separation conditions is the modelling of chromatographic retention from experimental data. Traditionally, this is achieved by fitting model parameters for each solute, resulting in individual solute models (ISMs).

Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2), a key biomarker in breast cancer, is critical for early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation. In this work, a label-free electrochemical immunosensor was developed for biomarker HER-2 detection based on PtSnCoNi hierarchical dendritic alloyed nanowires (PtSnCoNi HDNWs). These nanowires were synthesized via a co-reduction-triggered anisotropic growth strategy in oleylamine.

DNAzymes possessing kinase-like activities have long held theoretical promise, yet their practical implementation has remained significantly limited. Notably, DNAzyme kinase 1 (DK1), discovered over two decades ago, exhibits a unique self-phosphorylation capability upon encountering specific substrates like ATP, but its broad-based and programmable applications have not yet been fully realized. In this study, we innovatively couple DK1's autophosphorylation mechanism with the PfAgo to establish a novel programmable cascade sensing platform named RASTEN (Robust pfAgo-based Strategy for POC Testing Non-nucleic Acid and Nucleic Acid).
