We consider correlation functions of two maximal giant gravitons and two light 1/2-BPS (Bogomol'nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield) operators in 4D N=4 SYM (super Yang-Mills). Viewed as two-point correlators in the presence of a zero-dimensional defect, they can be completely fixed at strong coupling using analytic bootstrap techniques. We determine all infinitely such correlators for arbitrary light 1/2-BPS operators and find that the result can be repackaged into a simple generating function thanks to a hidden higher-dimensional symmetry.

Individually foraging ants use egocentric views as a dominant navigation strategy for learning and retracing routes. Evidence suggests that route retracing can be achieved by algorithms which use views as 'visual compasses', where individuals choose the heading that leads to the most familiar visual scene when compared to route memories. However, such a mechanism does not naturally lead to route approach, and alternative strategies are required to enable convergence when off-route and for correcting on-route divergence.

Background: Carotid artery stenosis is a major cause of stroke. Non-contrast MR angiography (MRA) using time-spatial labeling inversion pulse (Time-SLIP) may offer potential advantages over 3D time-of-flight (TOF)-MRA for simultaneous visualization of carotid, vertebral, and subclavian arteries, but remains uninvestigated.
Purpose: To determine optimal black blood inversion time (TI) for visualizing the carotid and subclavian arteries using three-dimensional (3D) fast field echo (FFE) Time-SLIP MRA, and to compare its image quality with 3D TOF-MRA.

Sperm length is highly variable within ejaculates, between males, populations and across species. While theory makes strong predictions about expected mean sperm size, there is less clarity on variation in sperm, although studies have reported sperm-length variation consistent with some theoretical expectations. Typically, the coefficient of variation (CV) is used in these investigations to control for mean-variance scaling.
