The efficiency of physisorption-based separation of gas-mixtures depends on the selectivity of adsorbent which is directly linked to size, shape, polarizability and other physical properties of adsorbed molecules. Commensurate adsorption is an interesting and important adsorption phenomenon, where the adsorbed amount, location, and orientation of an adsorbate are commensurate with the crystal symmetry of the adsorbent. Understanding this phenomenon is important and beneficial as it can provide vital information about adsorbate-adsorbent interaction and adsorption-desorption mechanism. So far, only sporadic examples of commensurate adsorption have been reported in porous materials such as zeolites and metal organic frameworks (MOFs). In this work we show for the first time direct structural evidence of commensurate-to-incommensurate transition of linear hydrocarbon molecules (C-C) in a microporous MOF, by employing a number of analytical techniques including single crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD), powder X-ray diffraction coupled with differential scanning calorimetry (PXRD-DSC), gas adsorption and molecular simulations.

Structured education-particularly when reinforced postdischarge through methods like teach-back, tele-coaching, and home visits-has consistently demonstrated improved self-management, symptom recognition, and quality of life.

There has been an increasing emphasis on recovery as the expectation for people with mental health conditions. Within acute care mental health settings, music therapists can facilitate recovery by motivating service users to identify self-directed goals that increase their ability to remain in communities of their choice and have lives of hope, meaning, and purpose. The purpose of this cluster-randomized pilot effectiveness study was to determine if a single group songwriting session can impact quantitative measures of recovery in adults on an acute care mental health unit.

The scope of this article was to comprehend discourses and attitudes that permeate care relationships in the reproductive journeys of women with physical disabilities. The qualitative research, conducted in the metropolitan area of João Pessoa-PB, was based on ethnography, interviews, and biographical accounts of 14 female interlocutors between 26 and 54 years of age. The theoretical-analytical framework was anchored in the intersectional perspectives of care studies and disability studies, considering gender, class, and disability oppressions.

Magnon-phonon hybridization in ordered materials is a crucial phenomenon with significant implications for spintronics, magnonics, and quantum materials research. We present direct experimental evidence and theoretical insights into magnon-phonon coupling in Mn_{3}Ge, a kagome antiferromagnet with noncollinear spin order. Using inelastic x-ray scattering and ab initio modeling, we uncover strong hybridization between planar spin fluctuations and transverse optical phonons, resulting in a large hybridization gap of ∼2 meV.
