Paragangliomas are benign neoplasms that arise from the autonomic nervous system and the associated paraganglia. Although benign, they have been shown to possess metastatic potential. Involvement of the spine is rare. Even rarer is considered the involvement of the cervical spine. We report a case of a patient with a history of an extra-adrenal non-functional paraganglioma of the jugular foramen which was initially treated with intra-arterial embolization. After a 3-year disease-free follow-up, the patient was presented with symptoms of spinal cord compression due to spinal metastases in C2 and C3 vertebrae. The patient was then treated with surgical decompression and external beam radiation. Therapeutic management with additional treatment options is now under discussion by a multidisciplinary team. Paraganglioma of the jugular foramen with spinal metastasis is an uncommon presentation where increased physician awareness and long-term follow-up are mandatory for all patients with history of paraganglioma.

Introduction: Cochlear implantation (CI) may be used as a viable method for restoring hearing in patients with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) caused by jugular foramen tumors.
Materials And Methods: 42-year-old female presenting with sudden-onset SNHL, pulsatile tinnitus, and otalgia, with a PTA of 119 dB and AzBio sentence score of 0% in quiet. Brain MRI identified a 22 mm tumor within the left jugular foramen and hypoglossal canal involving the cochlear aqueduct.

The study aimed to highlight the complementary roles of computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and gallium-68 DOTA-(Tyr³)-octreotide positron emission tomography (Ga-DOTATOC PET) in the diagnosis and treatment of jugulotympanic paragangliomas. We present cases of three patients: a 48-year-old woman with tympanic paraganglioma associated with left facial paralysis (patient 1), a 60-year-old man with asymptomatic jugular paraganglioma (patient 2), and a 73-year-old woman with a small tympanic paraganglioma (patient 3). All patients underwent CT, MRI, and Ga-DOTATOC PET imaging.

MRI is the most effective imaging tool for diagnosing cerebellopontine angle tumors, although CT is also useful for evaluating bone changes and detecting calcification. Regarding MRI, it is recommended to efficiently use MR cisternography, a small imaging field of view, and a thin slice thickness. The most common tumor type is acoustic schwannoma, followed by meningioma, trigeminal, facial nerve, jugular foramen schwannoma, paraganglioma, and others.

Background: Carotid body tumors (CBTs) are rare paragangliomas with an incidence of 1-2 per 100,000 individuals. While surgical resection remains the standard treatment, postoperative recurrence poses a clinical challenge.
Case Presentation: We describe a 49-year-old female with recurrent CBT involving the jugular foramen, managed with IGRT (60 Gy/30 fractions) and 4 cycles of CVD chemotherapy.

Jugulotympanic paragangliomas (JTPs) are rare, benign, but locally aggressive neuroendocrine tumors of the temporal bone and jugular foramen. Due to their proximity to critical neurovascular structures, they can cause considerable morbidity. This study retrospectively assesses treatment outcomes in JTP patients, examining the effectiveness of surgical resection and stereotactic radiosurgery (RS) in tumor control and recurrence prevention.
