Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by persistent hyperglycemia with multiple clinical manifestations and complications, such as cardiovascular disease, kidney dysfunction, retinal impairment, and peripheral neuropathy. Continuous and minimally invasive glucose monitoring is essential for effective DM management. Microneedles (MNs)-based sensing platforms offer a promising solution; however, conventional polymeric MNs suffer from limited electrochemical sensitivity due to their insufficient electroactive surface area and inefficient loading of catalytic and enzymatic components.

Sarcosine (Sar), a critical potential biomarker for prostate cancer (PCa), is primarily detected via enzyme cascade reactions involving sarcosine oxidase (SOx) and peroxidase. Nevertheless, the intermediate product hydrogen peroxide (HO) tends to diffuse to the bulk solution phase without entering subsequent reaction, leading to suboptimal detection sensitivity and compromised analytical performance. To tackle this challenge, a multilayered sandwich nanozyme cascade sensor (designated as Cu-MOF/Rf@BDC) is proposed through a confinement-mediated HO enrichment strategy.

Background: Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally, primarily due to late-stage diagnosis, molecular heterogeneity, and therapy resistance. Key biomarkers such as EGFR, ALK, KRAS, and PD-1 have revolutionized precision oncology; however, comprehensive structural and clinical validation of these targets is crucial to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
Methods: Protein sequences for EGFR, ALK, KRAS, and PD-1 were retrieved from UniProt and modeled using SWISS-MODEL to generate high-confidence 3D structures.

Introduction: Organizational resilience is of paramount importance for coping with adversity, particularly in the healthcare sector during crises. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the impact of resilience-based interventions on the well-being of healthcare employees during the pandemic. In this study, resilience-based interventions are defined as organizational actions that strengthen a healthcare institution's capacity to cope with crises-such as ensuring adequate personal protective equipment and staff testing, clear risk-communication, alternative care pathways (e.

Mast cell tumors (MCTs) are the most common skin neoplasms in dogs and exhibit highly variable biological behavior. Metastasis primarily affects the lymph nodes, though less frequently, MCTs can infiltrate the spleen, liver, peripheral blood, and bone marrow. Flow cytometry of fine needle aspirate samples represents a non-invasive diagnostic procedure that has shown promise for detecting and quantifying mast cells in primary tumors and lymph nodes.
