Objectives: Acute lung injury (ALI) is an acute respiratory failure syndrome characterized by impaired gas exchange. Due to the lack of effective targeted drugs, it is associated with high mortality and poor prognosis. (TW) has demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity in the treatment of various diseases.

Background: Hair transplant surgery is often tended to as a last resort for different types of alopecia. It involves importing hair from a donor site to recipient site using different surgical tools. Surgical interventions hold the risk of causing complications, due to the penetration of skin and exposure of internal tissue to tools and outer environment.

Introduction: Non-transient erythema (NTE) is a major feature of rosacea, but its clinical evaluation is subject to human investigator variability. The angiopoietin-TIE2 receptor tyrosine kinase pathway plays a key role in regulating vascular homeostasis, but was previously overlooked as a target for rosacea therapy. Angiopausin® is a patented plant-based ingredient identified through a molecular phytotherapy screening program as a positive inducer of the angiopoietin-TIE2 pathway, which is the "gatekeeper of vascular quiescence.

Purpose: To evaluate the role of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in differentiating ischemic and non-ischemic central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).

Methods: This prospective observational study included 72 eyes with CRVO (36 ischemic, 36 non-ischemic), all presenting with macular edema. Participants underwent clinical evaluation, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA), and OCTA imaging.

Chronic Intermittent Hypoxia (CIH) is a central pathological feature of diseases such as obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS), which induces oxidative stress in lung tissues and leads to lung injury. Atraric acid (AA), a lichen-derived compound, has been reported to possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. In this study, we investigated the functions and mechanisms of AA in CIH-induced lung injury by constructing a CIH mouse model and an in vitro hypoxia/reoxygenation model in MLE-12 cells.
