The field of natural language processing (NLP) has witnessed significant progress in recent years, with a notable focus on improving large language models' (LLM) performance through innovative prompting techniques. Among these, prompt engineering coupled with structures has emerged as a promising paradigm, with designs such as Chain-of-Thought, Tree of Thoughts, or Graph of Thoughts, in which the overall LLM reasoning is guided by a structure such as a graph. As illustrated with numerous examples, this paradigm significantly enhances the LLM's capability to solve numerous tasks, ranging from logical or mathematical reasoning to planning or creative writing.

Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO), Brussels, 1000, Belgium; Centre for Research on Ecology, Cognition and Behaviour of Birds (ECoBird), Ghent University, Ghent, 9000, Belgium. Electronic address:

Nature-based solutions (NbS) are emerging as promising strategies for addressing societal and environmental challenges, striving to transform cities into more resilient and sustainable environments. NbS harness nature and ecological processes to provide multiple benefits and while supporting biodiversity. Although urban greening is widely promoted through NbS, evidence on their effectiveness in supporting biodiversity remains limited.

The history of life intrigues both researchers and society, as it is human nature to question our origins. Our understanding of microbial evolution comes mainly from genomic data and geological evidence. Recent advances in sequencing technologies are revealing vast insights into microbial diversity, especially among uncultured lineages.

Achieving high yield in genetics research and genome diagnostics is a significant challenge because it requires a combination of multiple strategies and large-scale genomic analysis using the latest methods. Existing diagnostic software infrastructures are often unable to cope with high demands for versatility and scalability. We developed MOLGENIS VIP, a flexible, scalable, high-throughput, open-source, and "end-to-end" pipeline to process different types of sequencing data into portable, prioritized variant lists for immediate clinical interpretation in a wide variety of scenarios.
