Randomly rotating particles that have been isotropically labeled with rigidly linked fluorophores will undergo non-isotropic (patchy) photobleaching under illumination due to the dipole coupling of fluorophores with light. For a rotational diffusion rate D of the particle and a photobleaching time scale τ of the fluorophores, the dynamics of this process are characterized by the dimensionless combination Dτ. We find significant interparticle fluctuations at intermediate Dτ. These fluctuations vanish at both large and small Dτ or at small or large elapsed times t. Associated with these fluctuations between particles, we also observe transient non-monotonicities of the brightness of individual particles. These non-monotonicities can be as much as 20% of the original brightness. We show that these novel photobleach-fluctuations dominate over variability of single-fluorophore orientation when there are at least 10 fluorophores on individual particles.

Livestock grazing endophyte-infected (E+) tall fescue can exhibit persistent systemic vasoconstriction and fescue toxicosis. Isoflavones in legumes, most notably red clover (RC), are known hypotensive agents. The objective of the experiment was to evaluate the effect of isoflavone supplementation via RC hay, every day or every other day (QOD), on average daily gain (ADG) of steers grazing E+ tall fescue pastures and their physiological recovery after grazing when managed on a non-toxic diet (28-d).

Background: Residency training provides systematic, competency-based education for medical graduates. Although specialised knowledge and clinical skills are crucial in pediatric cardiology, training in China is often limited to 2-3 months with lecture-heavy approaches. We explored integrating clinical pathway(CP) and case-based learning (CBL) models to enhance training efficiency.

Introduction: This study addresses growing concerns about declining physical fitness and insufficient aesthetic literacy among university students. These issues are compounded by the limitations of traditional physical education in supporting holistic development. Dance-based interventions are proposed as a potential solution to bridge this gap.

Background: Cervical disc herniation (CDH) is a common musculoskeletal disorder characterized by chronic neck pain, impaired proprioception, kinesiophobia, and functional limitations, often requiring multimodal conservative care. Myofascial techniques, including Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and percussion massage therapy (PMT), have emerged as supportive physiotherapy interventions. This randomized controlled trial compared the effects of IASTM and PMT on pain, disability, kinesiophobia, and proprioceptive function in individuals with CDH.

Despite growing interest in motion-controlled video games for rehabilitation, the mechanisms that facilitate transfer of motor learning in such situations remain poorly understood. This study examined the transfer of motor learning in a video game task controlled either via center of pressure (CoP) displacement or through torso rotations. For this purpose, during the game, participants controlled an aircraft in vertical and horizontal axes and had to fly through 100 ring-shaped targets.
