Two expert reports of medical malpractice cases, in one of which there was a conclusion about the presence of a direct causal relationship with the natural course of the disease, and the other - with the incorrect actions of the doctor, were analyzed. Methodological approaches to solving such issues are discussed. It is recommended to use the logical method of hypothetical elimination of incorrect actions of medical professionals in order to avoid errors.

Introduction And Hypothesis: Depressive and anxiety symptoms are known risk factors for lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). To inform prevention and treatment strategies, this research examined whether greater emotional support seeking weakened associations of affective symptoms with LUTS and poorer bladder health.
Methods: Data were collected from women in the USA who participated in the RISE FOR HEALTH study of bladder health.

Innovative qualitative approaches are essential for exploring how health professions education (HPE) can address complex, value-laden constructs such as social accountability. Visual elicitation techniques, including rich picture interviews (RPIs), offer distinctive opportunities to surface layered, affective, and contextually embedded understandings. This methodological study examines participant perspectives on the use of RPIs within a broader qualitative interpretive description on social accountability.

Acute abdomen can represent a serious clinical condition with a variety of different and potentially life-threatening underlying causes. Rapid identification of the underlying etiology through a structured approach and the prompt initiation of adequate diagnostic and treatment measures is highly relevant in order to reduce the patient's mortality risk. This article provides an overview of important differential diagnoses of an acute abdomen and describes recommended diagnostic and therapeutic measures that are relevant in acute and emergency clinical care.

Background And Aims: Fulminant myocarditis (FM) is a complex clinical syndrome characterized by acute myocardial inflammation and cardiogenic shock. Evidence on long-term outcomes, mortality risk factors, and targeted treatment options remains limited.
Methods: This retrospective analysis included consecutive adult patients admitted for FM between January 2012 and November 2022 at 26 European tertiary centres.
