This study examined sequential associations between child play and caregiver talk in 98 caregiver-child dyads (M = 14 months). Fifty dyads included a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Analyses revealed sequential associations between child play and caregiver follow-in (FI) utterances (utterances related to the child's attentional focus) were stronger in the ASD as compared to the typically developing (TD) group. FI utterances were more likely to elicit functional play than caregiver-focused utterances, and more so in the ASD group. Across groups, FI directives were more likely to elicit functional play than FI comments. These findings have important implications for research involving caregiver-child play as an early intervention context for children with ASD.

Background: Peripheral nerve stimulation has been available for many years, yet there is relatively little information available regarding stimulation of many of the large sensory and mixed nerves.
Case Report: A 42-year-old woman presented to the clinic for a 10-year history of intractable left upper extremity and forearm pain following a motor vehicle accident requiring skin grafting. Based on the patient's failure of more conservative therapy, a shared decision was made to pursue opioid sparing interventional modalities.

Objective: To analyze the workplace resilience of nursing professionals who worked in hospitals in southern Brazil during the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated factors.
Methods: A mixed-methods study with an explanatory sequential design, conducted in four hospitals in Rio Grande do Sul. A cross-sectional study with 845 nursing workers was followed by an exploratory descriptive study involving 17 of these workers.

Aims: Several diuretic strategies, including furosemide iv boluses (FB) or continuous infusion (FC), are used in acute heart failure (AHF).
Methods And Results: We systematically searched phase 3 randomized clinical trials (RCTs) evaluating diuretic regimens in admitted AHF patients within 48 hours and irrespective of clinical stabilization. We calculated the odds ratio (OR) of FC or FB plus another diuretic (sequential nephron blockade, SNB) compared to FB alone on 24-hour weight loss (WL) and worsening renal function (WRF), with a random-effects model with inverse variance weighting.

Patients with inflammation-associated coronary artery disease (CAD) may exhibit rapid progression and require regular coronary imaging. To evaluate the diagnostic performance of spectral photon-counting detector (PCD) coronary CTA with reduced radiation and contrast media doses for detecting coronary stenosis and in-stent restenosis in patients with inflammation-associated CAD. This prospective study enrolled patients with inflammation-associated CAD from January 2023 to March 2024.

Objective: This study investigated the locations of amino acid modifications within two major human hair keratins (Type I K31 and Type II K85) with probable implications for protein and hair structural component integrity. The particular focus was on cysteine modifications that disrupt intra-protein and inter-protein disulphide bonds.
Methods: Human hair was exposed to accelerated, sequential heat or UV treatments, simulating effects resulting from the use of heated styling tools and environmental exposure over a time frame approximating one year.
