Rationale: Stent fracture has received increased concern as it may be an important risk factor for late stent failure, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) is always recommended to confirm the diagnosis of stent fracture. StentBoost can detect stent fractures more easily due to the enhanced stent strut visibility, compared with coronary angiography (CAG). Few cases were reported to compare the advantages of StentBoost vis-à-vis IVUS in detecting stent fracture.
Patient Concerns: We reported 3 cases that were confirmed the diagnosis of stent fracture by StentBoost, which were preliminarily suspected by angiography, including one case that lacked the IVUS evidence of stent fracture.
Diagnoses: 3 cases of stent fracture presented with asymptomatic, angina and acute myocardial infarction, respectively.
Intervention: Stents were implanted in the patients of case 2 and case 3, but the patient of case 1 was not given any intervention.
Outcomes: No recurrent angina or myocardial infarction during outpatient follow-up.
Lessons: StentBoost may distinguish partial, complete, or multiple stent fracture, even which sometimes is not obvious in IVUS, StentBoost is a useful and handy tool for identifying the stent struts.

Autologous vein grafting is a common method for revascularization in cases of traumatic limb arterial injuries. However, no clear guidelines have been established regarding the use of tourniquets following vascular reconstruction. We report a case of graft thrombosis that occurred during a planned orthopedic surgery one week after the initial revascularization.

Background: Covered stent implantation has become a common approach for management of iliofemoral vascular complications in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), but the long-term outcomes associated with this approach are unknown. The aims of the study were 1) to evaluate the incidence and indication for covered stent placement in patients undergoing TAVR, 2) to assess long-term clinical outcomes after covered stent placement, and 3) to describe the performance of covered stents over long-term follow-up as assessed by Doppler ultrasonography.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study of patients undergoing iliofemoral covered stent implantation at the time of TAVR in a single high-volume UK center.

Background/aim: Endotracheal tube intubation is required for surgery under inhalation anesthesia. In the present study, after inhalation anesthesia in dogs, the tracheal tube was extubated without deflating the endotracheal tube cuff, resulting in thoracic tracheal rupture, subcutaneous emphysema, and pneumomediastinum. The ruptured thoracic trachea was reconstructed using an endotracheal stent to treat intrathoracic emphysema.

Endotracheal prosthesis placement is employed as a therapeutic intervention for tracheal lesions in cases where conventional surgical approaches are not feasible. The learning curve for endotracheal stent placement can vary depending on the type of stent, the training environment, and the clinician's prior experience; however, it is generally considered moderately complex. Inadequate practice can have serious consequences, as the procedure involves a critical area such as the airway.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of a new dedicated stepped balloon mounted bridging stent (BS) on procedural time, radiation exposure, and early technical outcomes in patients undergoing Fenestrated Endovascular Aortic Repair (FEVAR).
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on patients treated with four-fenestration FEVAR at a high-volume aortic center between March 2020 and March 2025. Patients were categorized into three groups: Standard balloon BS (Begraft, BG, Bentley) and renal access with preloaded renal catheters; Standard balloon BS (BG) and renal access with steerable sheaths; and stepped balloon BS (BeFlared, BF, Bentley) and renal access with steerable sheaths.
