We describe a patient with an incidental finding of a large mass adjacent to the heart detected on a screening CT scan. The differential diagnosis included primary and secondary tumours of the heart. Subsequent investigation with trans-thoracic echocardiogram and cardiac MRI confirmed a diagnosis of a giant pericardial lipoma, one of the common benign primary cardiac tumours.

Background: Human chimerism is rare, and most prevalent with discordant chromosomal sex. We report a male 46,XY/46,XY chimera, born through a spontaneously conceived pregnancy to a healthy 32-year-old G1P0 Indian, African, and Scottish female and her 34-year-old healthy Chinese partner. The prenatal presentation and postnatal outcomes are described.

Introduction: Incidental findings in radiology are common, especially with rising imaging volumes. Early disease recognition can greatly improve clinical outcomes, but in low-risk cases, incidental findings often lead to overdiagnosis and overtreatment, causing harm. Robust systems are critical to promote early identification without overburdening patients or healthcare systems.

Dislodgement of cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) leads following implantation ideally should not be missed. However, more often than not, patients do not undergo post-operative imaging following these procedures due to a lack of evidence behind the role of imaging following uncomplicated pacemaker (PPM) implantation procedures, based on the most recent guidelines This is a case report of a dual-chamber pacemaker (DC-PPM) right ventricular (RV) lead that was found dislodged and coiled in the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) as an incidental finding via a routine transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) study two years after implantation. We intend to shed light on the significance of timely detection of lead-related complications, as they can result in poor outcomes for patients.

We report a case of a female in her mid-40s diagnosed as norethisterone-induced liver injury. Our patient presented to the medical gastroenterology clinic with an incidental finding of progressively increasing transaminases. A detailed evaluation strongly supported our suspicion of progestin-induced liver disease with prompt reversal after discontinuation of norethisterone.

Purpose: The objectives were to describe and to compare the clinical features of patients with MD in terms of demographic data, clinical presentation, investigations, treatment, histopathology, and postoperative complications between children and adults.
Methods: Patients with MD were retrospectively reviewed from two tertiary hospitals (2002-2021). These included patients with symptomatic MD and patients whose MD was incidentally found during operations.
