Objective: Minimal Invasive Dialysis Access (MIDA) for renal dialysis encompasses percutaneous arteriovenous fistula (pAVF) creation and the modified percutaneous Seldinger peritoneal dialysis catheter insertions (pPD). This review examines the impact of MIDA on technical success, maturation rates, patency, clinical benefits, complications, and cost.
Methods: A review was made of the literature on MIDA including pAVF creation and pPD insertion regarding technical success rates, maturation rates, patency, clinical benefits, complications, and cost.

Endoscopic ultrasound-directed transgastric endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (EDGE) and endoscopic ultrasound-directed transenteric endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (EDEE) are innovative endoscopic techniques developed to overcome the challenges of biliary access in patients with surgically altered gastrointestinal anatomy. EDGE facilitates the creation of a gastro-gastric anastomosis, enabling endoscopic access to the excluded stomach and subsequent duodenum for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. Similarly, EDEE involves creating a gastro-jejunal anastomosis, allowing endoscopic access to the jejunum and hepaticojejunostomy for ERCP.

Staple line leak is one of the most critical complications after metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS). In chronic cases, definitive surgical reconstruction remains the treatment of choice. We report the case of a 24-year-old female with a history of sleeve gastrectomy (SG), converted to Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) 2 days later due to a gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) leak.

In recent decades, ultrasound-guided percutaneous infiltrative procedures have gained prominence in treating musculoskeletal disorders, providing enhanced accuracy over traditional "blind" techniques. This study examines the utility of the Power Doppler ultrasound technique, specifically the "Jet sign," in identifying needle placement during infiltrative treatments. A retrospective analysis was conducted involving 5,376 patients where procedures were performed under ultrasound guidance from January 2014 to January 2022.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate whether mesenteric lymphangiography (mLAG) is technically feasible and clinically useful for patients with refractory chylous ascites, chylothorax and protein-losing enteropathy.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective study of 35 patients (M/F 16:19, mean age 56 years, range 20-78) who underwent mLAG at two institutions between March 2016 and July 2022 was performed. mLAG was performed via intraoperative and/or percutaneous approaches.
