Only one in five patients respond to immune checkpoint inhibitors, which primarily target adaptive immunity. Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phophodiesterase 1 (ENPP1), the dominant hydrolase of 2'3'-cyclic-GMP-AMP (cGAMP) that suppresses downstream stimulator of interferon genes (STING) signaling, has emerged as a promising innate immunotherapy target. However, existing ENPP1 inhibitors have been optimized for prolonged systemic residence time rather than effective target inhibition within tumors.

BN-fused aromatic compounds have garnered significant attention due to their unique electronic structures and exceptional photophysical properties, positioning them as highly promising candidates for applications in organic optoelectronics. However, the regioselective synthesis of BN isomers remains a formidable challenge, primarily stemming from the difficulty in precisely controlling reaction sites, limiting structural diversity and property tunability. Herein, we propose a regioselective synthetic strategy that employs 2,1-BN-naphthalene derivatives, wherein selective activation of N-H and C-H bonds is achieved in conjunction with -halogenated phenylboronic acids.

Sodium (Na) metal batteries (SMBs) are regarded as some of the most promising next-generation energy storage systems due to their high energy density. However, their practical application is severely hindered by interfacial instabilities at both the anode and cathode, which result in rapid capacity degradation during cycling. Here, we proposed a bidirectional interfacial regulation strategy that simultaneously stabilizes both electrode interfaces.

Controlled modulation of charge storage and recombination in light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can function as an artificial memory platform, where charge storage mimics data writing, and recombination corresponds to data readout. Here we demonstrate hole storage lasting up to 0.8 s in an LED using the Cu-In-Zn-S quantum-dot (QD) emissive layer coupled with a deep-energy-level hole transport layer (HTL).
