Objective: To update a previous systematic review on contraceptive safety and effectiveness among women with solid organ transplants.
Study Design: We searched multiple databases from inception through December 7, 2022, for studies of any design that examined contraceptive safety and effectiveness for any contraceptive method among women with solid organ transplants. We extracted data from included articles; for studies that were not case series/reports, we assessed risk of bias and determined certainty of evidence.

Scrub typhus, caused by , is a zoonotic infection endemic to the Asia-Pacific region. Its severity ranges from mild illness to life-threatening complications and case fatality rate upto 30%, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis. This study analyzed the clinical profile and pregnancy outcomes of 34 pregnant women diagnosed with scrub typhus at a tertiary care and referral centre.

Introduction: The integration of genetic testing in pediatrics has advanced significantly in recent years. The incorporation of technologies such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and array-based Comparative Genomic Hybridization (aCGH) in increasingly younger patients has accelerated the transition toward precision medicine.
Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study (January 2021-June 2024) included 187 neonates (≤90 days old) from the NICUs of the Clínica Colsanitas network in Bogotá, Colombia and evaluate the diagnostic yield for genomic testing comprising 82 Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) and 125 aCGH tests, with 18 patients undergoing both.

In the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD) paradigm, there is a clear link between an adverse prenatal environment and the development of non-hereditary diseases later in life. Exposure to intrauterine inflammation, for example, has been associated with several late-onset conditions, including neurological, cardiovascular, immune, and metabolic disorders. Moreover, maternal and fetal health are compromised under exacerbated inflammation, as it can result in spontaneous abortion, preterm delivery, or intrauterine growth restriction.
