Minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomy is gaining success among surgeons also for the increasing use of robotic approach. Ideal candidates are patients with small, confined tumor and dilatated Wirsung duct which is a quite rare clinical conditions: in fact, most of minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomies are performed for periampullary cancer, easy to remove but with soft pancreatic remnant and tiny Wirsung duct. The result is the technical challenge of the pancreatico-enteric reconstructions.

Objective: To evaluate the usefulness of a double coating of polyglycolic acid (PGA) felt for pancreaticojejunostomy in reducing the incidence of clinically relevant postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) in patients with a normal pancreas.
Summary Background Data: Despite pancreaticojejunostomy being an advanced procedure in patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy (PD), few studies have reported a satisfactory reduction in the incidence of POPF.
Methods: This study was an international multicenter randomized controlled trial conducted between October 2018 and December 2021.

Introduction: Pancreatico-enterostomy stenosis is a late postoperative complication following pancreaticoduodenectomy. We report a case in which a surgical "rendezvous" procedure was performed to address the stenosis.
Case Presentation: A 20-year-old woman underwent laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy for a solid pseudopapillary neoplasm in the pancreatic head.

Introduction: Postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) is the most severe complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD), and this study investigates the effects of single-layer and double-layer pancreaticojejunostomy (PJ) on POPF.
Evidence Acquisition: Four electronic databases were systematically searched until March 2024: PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane Library. Statistical analysis was performed using Review Manager (RevMan) software.
