Cancer is the leading cause of death in Alaska and the second leading cause of death in the USA, even though the most common cancers are largely preventable through screening and lifestyle changes. Consequently, interventions that promote sustainable behavioral change can reduce existing health disparities in cancer morbidity and mortality. In 2019, community sharing circles inspired the creation of a cancer education project for youth in the Northwest Arctic region of Alaska.

Importance: Employing peer coaches to provide weight management counseling in primary care could address patient- and clinician-level barriers to obesity care, improve outcomes, and boost engagement in weight management programs.
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of peer coaching to deliver a low- to moderate-intensity intervention for weight management compared with enhanced usual care (EUC).
Design, Setting, And Participants: This 2-arm, cluster randomized clinical trial was conducted from November 2017 to August 2021 at a single US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) site.

The Cold Pressor Test (CPT) is an established method for evaluating pain perception and stress responses; evidence indicates that females perceive the CPT as more painful than males. However, methodological variations-particularly in water temperature-complicate cross-study comparisons and hinder robust study designs. To address these issues, we examined the effects of three water temperatures (1°C, 3°C, and 6°C) on pain outcomes and physiological stress markers (heart rate [HR] and heart rate variability [HRV]) in healthy adults while exploring sex differences.

Introduction: We sought to estimate the cost-effective price for lecanemab for treating early Alzheimer's disease in Sweden from the perspective of formal care payers.
Methods: We developed a Markov model with states defined by disease severity and care setting. The model was populated by integrated clinical and economic data from Swedish registers.
