Despite being known for nearly two centuries, new specimens of the derived non-pterodactyloid pterosaur Rhamphorhynchus continue to be discovered and reveal new information about their anatomy and palaeobiology. Here we describe a specimen held in the collections of the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, Alberta, Canada that shows both preservation and impressions of soft tissues, and also preserves material interpreted as stomach contents of vertebrate remains and, uniquely, a putative coprolite. The specimen also preserves additional evidence for fibers in the uropatagium.

Background: Capecitabine, an oral prodrug of 5-fluorouracil, is widely used for gastrointestinal malignancies. While its coronary toxicity is well documented, large-vessel complications such as aortic dissection are rarely reported.
Case Summary: We present a 65-year-old man with colorectal cancer who developed Stanford type A aortic dissection 3 days after initiating adjuvant capecitabine therapy.

Renal cysts are common, typically asymptomatic, fluid-filled sacs that rarely require intervention. Nevertheless, in rare cases, large symptomatic cysts can cause significant morbidity. We report the case of an 87-year-old man presenting to the emergency department with right chest wall pain following a ground-level fall, accompanied by worsening nausea, vomiting, and decreased oral intake over 6-7 months.

Objectives: Recent evidence suggests that the gut may be a primary site of metformin action. However, studies on the effects of metformin on gut microbiota remain limited, and its impact on gut microbial metabolites such as short-/medium-chain fatty acids is unclear. This study aims to investigate the effects of metformin on gut microbiota, short-/medium-chain fatty acids, and associated metabolic benefits in high-fat diet rats.
