In the stable cone-jet regime, liquid usually presents the shape of a cone extended by a jet at its apex, with jet breakup yielding fine drops. The dynamics of the Taylor cone critically affect the stability of the jet and further determine the jet and/or drop size. In the present work, the morphology of the Taylor cone, cone length, and cone angle were studied through experimental and numerical means, where the operating parameters and liquid properties are considered.

The survey assessed tribological properties of the materials based on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene for joint replacement liners by several major manufacturers. Being their crucial parameter, the mass wear rates were compared. Scanning electron microscopy was used to assess the metamorphosis of the materials surface after friction.

Objectives: To study the molecular mechanisms of LDH-loaded si-NEAT1 for regulating paclitaxel resistance and tumor-associated macrophage (TAM) polarization in breast cancer.
Methods: qRT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the expression of lncRNA NEAT1, miR-133b, and PD-L1 in breast cancer SKBR3 cells and paclitaxel-resistant SKBR3 cells (SKBR3-PR). The effects of transfection with si-NEAT1 and miR-133b mimics on MRP, MCRP and PD-L1 expressions and cell proliferation, migration and apoptosis were investigated using qRT-PCR, Western blotting, scratch and Transwell assays, and flow cytometry.

This study aimed to determine the influence of air abrasion on the shear bond strength (SBS) of universal adhesives when using different abrasive powders. The AquaCare Twin served as the injection device. The prepared bovine dentin specimens were air- abraded with alumina particles or bioactive glass before applying the universal adhesive (All Bond Universal, Clearfil Universal Bond Quick ER, or Scotchbond Universal Plus Adhesive).

Lymphomas are a group of malignant proliferations of B, T or NK-lymphoid cells at different stages of maturation. While they primarily occur in lymph nodes or lymphatic tissues, they can also involve bone marrow, blood, or other organs.
