Aims: This review summarizes the role and future prospects of nuclear medicine in ovarian cancer, focusing on novel radiopharmaceuticals beyond FDG for diagnostic, predictive, and therapeutic applications within a theranostic framework.

Materials And Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted using major databases. Peer-reviewed articles addressing non-FDG radiopharmaceuticals in ovarian cancer were identified and assessed; FDG-based studies were excluded due to the availability of prior comprehensive reviews.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) requires accurate therapeutic response assessment. This study evaluates the efficacy and prognostic value of [18F] fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18F-FDG PET-CT) using the Deauville 5-point scale and maximum standardized uptake value (ΔSUVmax) methods in DLBCL patients. A retrospective study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022, including 60 DLBCL patients.

Background: Ocular adnexal marginal zone lymphoma (OAMZL) is the most common subtype of primary ocular lymphoma and has been rising in incidence in Asian populations.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of 95 patients diagnosed with OAMZL within a multi-ethnic cohort from Singapore. Clinical characteristics, survival outcomes including overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS), and maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) on staging F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18-FDG-PET/CT) were investigated.

Functional Imaging in Alzheimer's Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of ASL-MRI and FDG-PET.

J Neuroimaging

September 2025

Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science, Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) are two common conditions associated with cognitive decline. With global dementia cases rising, identifying the most accurate imaging method for diagnosis is essential.

Methods: Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic review and Meta-Analysis Protocols, we systematically reviewed studies utilizing arterial spin labeling magnetic resonance imaging (ASL-MRI) and [18F]-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) for neurodegenerative disorders.
