Galectin-10(Gal-10)/CLC(Charcot-Leyden crystal) has been discovered to be related to ECRSwNP characterized by high eosinophilic infiltration. We aimed to investigate the effects of Gal-10 on ECRSwNP. A total of 36 tissue samples were collected, including 11 ECRSwNP samples, 15 non-ECRSwNP samples, and 10 Control samples.

Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), which induces an innate immune response against viral infections, is rarely detected in influenza A virus (IAV)-infected cells. Nevertheless, we previously reported that the influenza A viral ribonucleoprotein (vRNP) complex generates looped dsRNAs during RNA synthesis . This finding suggests that IAV possesses a specific mechanism for sequestering dsRNA within infected cells, thereby enabling viral evasion of the innate immune response.

Objective: This study investigates the association between alobar holoprosencephaly (HPE) and de novo germline microdeletions in the Xq25 region. To develop a Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic Disorders (PGT-M) based workflow enabling high-resolution preimplantation detection of sub-Mb microdeletions, overcoming the >1 Mb resolution limit of conventional whole genome amplification(WGA) copy number variation(CNV) sequencing to identify causative Xq25 variants and prevent pathogenic microdeletion transmission.
Methods: This study presents a clinical case involving a couple with an adverse obstetric history accompanied by two occurrences of HPE.
