Background Context: Reduced walking capacity is the hallmark of lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). Currently, walking capacity in LSS is assessed with self-reported questionnaires. The Self-Paced Walking Test (SPWT) has been recommended as an objective capture of walking capacity, but takes up to 30 minutes to complete, preventing its widespread use by clinicians.

The objective of this study was to explore the knowledge and attitudes regarding seafood safety and consumption, along with preferences and environmental issues in coastal Bangladesh. A cross-sectional, consumer-based survey was conducted in Bangladesh from September to November 2023, targeting 1100 participants aged 18 years and older across seven coastal districts. Convenience sampling and in-person interviews were used for the data collection.

A teaching theatre in a local psychiatric hospital was transformed into an ex-patient's Theatre of Dreams for over two decades as he hosted weekly events that welcomed patients from the wards, ex-patients and the general public to become an audience together. Movie Monday was a unique and innovative free weekly media arts programme that would become a valued community-arts programme that brought people together to be entertained while simultaneously addressing some of the society's most pressing and often divisive issues. The project ended when COVID locked down the hospital theatre.

Introduction: Acute lower respiratory infections (ALRIs) remain the leading causes of repeated hospitalisations among young disadvantaged Australian and New Zealand First Nations and Timorese children. Severe (hospitalised) and recurrent ALRIs in the first years of life are associated with future chronic lung diseases (eg, bronchiectasis) and impaired lung function. Despite the high burden and long-term consequences of severe ALRIs, clinical, evidence-based and feasible interventions (other than vaccine programmes) that reduce ALRI hospitalisations in children are limited.
