Article Abstract

We designed a weighted cross-correlation coefficient considering the "anchor" of the T cell epitopes, and used an evolutionary algorithm to search for an optimal weight vector. A SVM model with this new peptide similarity kernel was evaluated on a T-cell data set. The results demonstrated a good performance of this method.

In the presence of room reverberation and background noise, the performance of frame-level speaker localization is severely limited. To address this challenge, this study performs multi-channel speech enhancement based on complex spectral mapping (CSM), followed by direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation using weighted generalized cross-correlation with phase transform (GCC-PHAT). The proposed approach differs from prevailing deep learning methods that operate on multi-channel inputs directly for speaker localization.

Flow trajectory imaging, which tracks flow particles over time to map path-dependent trajectories, is a valuable tool for analyzing flow dynamics in pathological vascular conditions. Accurate trajectory estimation depends on robust vector flow imaging (VFI) methods to minimize cumulative errors. However, Doppler-based VFI methods are limited by aliasing and ensemble-sensitive estimation errors, while speckle tracking (ST) methods suffer from poor lateral velocity estimation due to beam diffraction.

Partial discharge (PD) in insulators will not only lead to the gradual degradation of insulation performance but even cause power system failure in serious cases. Because there is strong noise interference in the field, it is difficult to accurately locate the position of the PD source. Therefore, this paper proposes a three-dimensional spatial localization method of the PD source with a four-element ultra-high-frequency (UHF) array based on improved wavelet packet dynamic threshold denoising and the Gxx-β generalized cross-correlation algorithm.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a complex neurological disorder driven by the dysfunction of key protein components. In this regard, 14-3-3η, a ubiquitous protein-protein interaction (PPI) facilitator, complexes with Parkin, an E3 ligase, inactivating the latter. This interaction promotes oxidative stress in dysfunctional mitochondria, ultimately causing neuronal cell death.
