Background: Sarcomas are rare cancer with a heterogeneous group of tumors. They affect both genders across all age groups and present significant heterogeneity, with more than 70 histological subtypes. Despite tailored treatments, the high metastatic potential of sarcomas remains a major factor in poor patient survival, as metastasis is often the leading cause of death.

Aim: Our aim was to ascertain whether metformin can reduce insulin requirement without compromising glycaemic control during pregnancy in women with type 1 diabetes.
Methods: A total of 126 pregnant women with type 1 diabetes were recruited for a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicentre study. The primary outcome was total insulin change, defined as the difference between baseline and third trimester maximum insulin dose (IU).

Background: Physiologic data streaming and aggregation platforms such as Sickbay® and Etiometry are becoming increasingly used in the paediatric acute care setting. As these platforms gain popularity in clinical settings, there has been a parallel growth in scholarly interest. The primary aim of this study is to characterise research productivity utilising high-fidelity physiologic streaming data with Sickbay® or Etiometry in the acute care paediatric setting.

Objective: To describe the health care use of patients with symptomatic knee or hip OA and to identify factors associated with health care use trajectories over a 10-year period.
Methods: This study used longitudinal data from the multicentre "Knee-and-Hip-OsteoArthritis-Long-term-Assessment" cohort, which comprised 878 patients with OA diagnoses confirmed by both a physician and radiographic evidence. We identified homogeneous subgroups of trajectories based on individual health care consumption over time via latent class growth analysis.

Background: The relationships between body size changes and the risk of hypertension and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) are still unclear. This study examined the independent and combined influences of child and adult body size on the risk of adulthood hypertension and MASLD.
Methods: We included 226,420 participants from the UK Biobank who were free of hypertension and liver diseases.
