Objective: Despite advancements in maternity quality care worldwide, mistreatment of women during childbirth persists. Currently, there is a gap of knowledge on the occurrence of disrespect and abuse during childbirth in the World Health Organization (WHO) European region.
Methods: Within the IMAgiNE EURO (Improving Maternal Newborn Care in the WHO European Region During COVID-19 Pandemic) study, women 18 years and older who gave birth in healthcare facilities in the WHO European region, were invited to complete an online validated questionnaire regarding quality of maternity care.

Background: The effect of Breastfeeding Self-efficacy (BFSE) and the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative's (BFHI) 10 Steps on breastfeeding initiation, continuation and exclusivity, is well established. However, direct evidence about the association between the experience of the 10 steps and self-efficacy is limited.
Objective: To assess the association between adherence to the 'Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding', sociodemographic factors and other predictors with breastfeeding self-efficacy (BFSE) at 48 h and at one month postpartum.

In the recent two decades it became possible to compensate severe-to-profound hearing loss using cochlear implants (CIs). The data from implanted children demonstrate that hearing and language acquisition is well-possible within an early critical period of 3 years, however, the earlier the access to sound is provided, the better outcomes can be expected. While the clinical priority is providing deaf and hard of hearing children with access to spoken language through hearing aids and CIs as early as possible, for most deaf children this access is currently in the second or third year of life.

LiL' STEPS (Language development & Intervention Lab's SupporTing Early social-communication and language by Promoting caregiver Sensitive responsiveness) is a novel, manualized, caregiver-mediated early support program developed in India and delivered online for infants at elevated familial likelihood for autism. The program has been found to be feasible and acceptable. The preliminary efficacy of the LiL' STEPS program, which remains to be evaluated, was assessed in this study using a feasibility randomized controlled trial design.
